baby!

Things aren't getting any easier! My belly is growing and it's getting harder to move around. My right rib area hurts and I'm getting horrible sleep. A couple of weeks ago, I started feeling the baby hiccup and its amazing. His kicking is also getting harder and often hurts! I can't wait for the baby to be here!

I'm currently on vacation in McAllen and I'm enjoying being spoiled by my mom...hehe. My baby shower was fun...thanks everyone for the baby gifts! :)

Baby joy.

I'm finally gaining weight and the baby is getting bigger! He is kicking harder and I'm starting to feel a lot more movement in my tummy. It's amazing. Aaron and I are discussing baby names. So far, the only name we've both agreed on is Trent Van Evans. A few more months to go and he will finally be here. I can't wait!

We're having a boy!

Baby and I went to the valley last week. While at home, I went to the doctor with my mom to find out the sex of the baby. I was surprised when I found out it was a boy! I thought it was going to be a girl! It was great to see the baby. Aaron is so happy that he will have a son! aww.

My family got to see my growing tummy and we had lots of fun visiting with everyone. Kaela, my 3 yr old niece, kept giving my baby belly big hugs! I have another sonogram in a couple of weeks. I will post sono pics later!

Baby kicks.

I've been feeling light baby kicks and flutters late in the evening. I can't wait for Aaron to put his hand on my belly and start feeling them too. :)

In a couple of weeks, we will find out the sex of the baby!

More about me:

Born and raised in South Texas(McAllen) where my parents, three siblings, niece, nephew and other family resides. My husband's job brought us to Fort Worth in February 2008. Aaron, is a Geologist. He's pretty great at it too! I became a stay at home mom in September of 2009. We struggled to conceive our first child, Trent. It took 18 long months for us to get pregnant. He was born November 2009. He's amazing, nice, dramatic, silly, stubborn and a bookworm! He's not your average 3 year old. He loves to read and it's amazing to watch him do so. He's a smart little guy! Trent was only 7 months old when we found out we were expecting a second child. We never expected it to happen so soon, but we were excited and terrified at the same time! We welcomed Travis into our arms in February 2011. He's a sweet, sweet boy. He was the calmest, most peaceful baby. He rarely fusses. He always seems to have a smile on his face! He's wears smarty pants too. :) We became extra conscious with our health and food intake shortly after Aaron's physician informed him that his cholesterol levels were alarming. Along with watching informative documentaries and doing our research, we decided on a plant based diet lifestyle. We have been vegan since January 2012. Our kiddos eat what we cook, but they are only about 90% vegan :) One more thing...Aaron had a physical visit late 2012 and his health has improved!
